I've added another Superfood to my diet - Brocco Sprouts. Broccoli sprouts contain the long-lasting antioxidant, sulforaphane glucosinolate (SGS). Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower are abundant in SGS. Research shows that SGS supports antioxidant activity in the body by triggering enzymes that help to remove free radicals and other chemicals. A one-ounce serving of BroccoSprouts broccoli sprouts contains 73 milligrams of SGS (that's about as much SGS as in 1 - 1/4 pounds of cooked broccoli). WOW!I eat an ounce of BroccoSprouts every day or every other day. I just grab a pinch and stick it in my mouth. Believe it or not, these little sprouts are spicy. They taste like radishes. I've tried the sprouts on my salad, but the taste overpowers my greens, so I choose to eat them by themselves.
